Letzte Tage in Düsseldorf, Fr 11.02.

I was amazed at how purple yoghurt could be.
I was packing my Paket all morning and then I went to Bilk Arcaden for coffee with Amy. I was a bit early so I went to the bookstore and found a really good coffee table book about Australia. Just as I walked out I saw Kai, who was going to buy a dictionary or something before heading off to Berlin. Coincidence, but it was great we were able to say goodbye properly after not remembering much from the previous night's Abschiedsparty.
Kristina, Ally, Katy, Cat, Peonie, Karin, Geetha and Bridget had been at the cafe for ages and I finally turned up about half an hour later than I said I would. I ordered my customary Flammkuchen and we wound down and reflected a bit, wished each other well. It would be the last time I saw Peonie, Geetha and Karin.
Finished packing my Paket after lunch and then went to meet up for dinner. I was late again haha, totally lost track of time. Almost didn't get to say one last goodbye to Bridget and Ally. Especially after Kristina gave me the complete wrong directions from H-H Straßenbahn Haltestelle. We went to Ohme Jupp, Kristina, Katy and I and it was sweet. Cat came later and by default ordered a beer when she didn't even want one. Evatt came as we were leaving.
Everyone else went home, and I could barely open my eyes but I went to Alfonso's house for a few quiet drinks and to say goodbye one last time to the Latinos. I think just Alfonso, Nicolas, Verena, Jan, Alebe, Camila and Jorge were there.

A typical Jorge photo pose.
A hastily taken shot at the street I came to know so well. The last night!
