I scored a goal. Lovely build-up play... the cross came from the right wing and they could only clear it as far as me. Right foot volley from a central position about 15 yards from goal. Past the diving goalkeeper's outstretched right arm. End result: Peakhurst Utd 3-2 Oatley R.S.L.. I put George through for the winning 3rd goal. Firsts won 2-1 and I got about half a game for them -- 90+45 mins of football and 2 wins = happiness.

Belles Will Ring and Parades @ the Red Rattler. The only oldie Belles played was "The Coldest Heart". It was very heartwarmingly nostalgic but so new at the same time.

Germany thrashed Argentina 4-0. Goes to show you need tactical knowledge to win tough football matches, doesn't it, Diego? Gareth was trying to say that it'd be absolutely fine for the Argentinians to walk off the field with 10 minutes to go because it was obvious they could not get anything out of the game anymore. Rory and I vigorously disagreed. Ryan and Marcus today similarly argued against. There are so so so many reasons why walking off is just not right. I really don't want to open this up for argument again because there really isn't anything to argue. It's a total no-brainer - this ends here.
