I'd like to know why dogs seem to like cute little squeaky toys so much.
Is it in their nature?
I mean, what did medieval dogs do for entertainment?
And what about Stone Age dogs for that matter?
Perhaps dogs were once used for hunting small animals
And humans thought they'd be smart and designed these squeaky toys to imitate the animals the dogs hunted.
But then again, being humans, it's in our nature to assume we're superior to other animals.
Maybe we designed the squeaky toy for the dog
To reassure ourselves that we are able to be entertained by higher things
While "lesser beings" can be kept occupied by things so mundane.
I'm reading into this too much, aren't I?
Gosh, I love that blue Sheep!
Holly looking innocent after pulling away her Sheep from Scrappy.
