I was in a really good mood after class yesterday (Fr 21.01.). I went and had a swim. Then I went to Hbf to buy a German-German dictionary as Alfonso said they were selling them for half price. I didn't end up buying it but I did get The Catcher in the Rye in German (Der Fänger im Roggen).
On the way back from the bookstore I discovered an Asian supermarket. It's much like the ones in Hurstville in Sydney but bigger and cleaner. I had a chat with the boss guy and he didn't know about Black Sauce, which I wanted to buy from them. What struck me was how polite he was... and it seemed like he actually makes the effort to speak German well. Totally the opposite of what I expect of the Chinese in Sydney! Also, the girl that worked at this place speaks German in a strange/cute accent.
Jorge came home later than he said he would. He's SO unreliable! He doesn't have a mobile phone and he's a pothead. He cooked dinner though, and it tasted nice. We went out afterward in the Altstadt and it was cool and chilled. Cat debuted her new hair cut.
