Living with 3 females has meant a certain amount of exposure to Channel 10's hit TV show Glee. Predictably, I think it's rubbish. The characters are not individuals. They are embodiments of stereotypes and in this way do not think for themselves, they do not act in any ways not expected of them.
I've never read Twilight but this video seems to push a similar message:
